Tabasco or hot sauce

Does anyone use these to clean anything? Gold, silver, coins? Does COKE really work? How many use a tumbler? I had one from a kid craft shop. Didn't last 2 weeks.....Any suggestions for an inexpensive one that works and where to get it?

I would use worcestershire sauce before using tobasco.

Used to use Taco Bell Taco Sauce to clean the crud off Current Type Cents. Worked pretty good, but left an unnatural tone on the coin! As long as you are cleaning SPENDABLE Coins, use a tumbler if you like!
NEVER clean Collectible Coins!!!!!!
