Tablet Help Please

Hello all.
My 5yr old HP laptop is done. I'm looking to purchase a quality tablet.
General surfing, TNeting and superior photographs are my requirements.
Any suggestions?

On the budget minded side, I recommend the Nexus 7. Surfs good, excellent pics and video, light weight and cheap compared to the top of the line tablets. The attached picture isn't the best he's taken.... the cannon smoke took alot of otherwise good detail out of the image.

Thanks. Hope to visit BestBuy this weekend. Also, on the non-budget end, I may check out an ipad. I loved my iphone.
