Another creek find from Missouri.
I had many good creeks and streams that I walked in central Missouri for over 20 years that were stone bottom, one of the streams that was spring fed evidently had camp sites for hundreds if not thousands of years by the amount and quality of artifacts my hunting partner and I found over the years. Heavy rains would cause the sides to crumble and fall in, we believe that is why it was constantly renourshied with artifacts. The creek was from 4 to 20 foot wide and 4 to 10 foot deep in different places depending on the terrain.
We tried to find the camp sites but it was just too heavy in brush, poison ivy and poison oak. We had permission to hunt the property so we hunted the stream instead.
This tallied pendant came from that creek.
Note, gorget does not qualify for banner, I found it years before joining TreasureNet.
