Greetings, here is a great video of one of our Green Beret, Roy P Benavides and his heroic action in
the Viet Nam war that earned him the Medal of Honor. At the end of the video it mentions that the
Navy named one of their ships after him. Someone added a comment that it was one of the Bob Hope
class of Roll-on/Roll-off ships that was built when he was Project Manager for that program. This
video will give you a small glimpse as to what it was like for our Military over there.
After the video is over, there are some on the right side of the page that also are very good.

Thank you for that Ray, he is a true hero. Shame he was treated so bad after, but I have seen this happen over here also.

Hello, Hammered, Yes, I agree, it is a shame that he wasn't treated better. And like you say, it happens so often
where the ones that deserve some high recognition for their actions are completely ignored for a long time, and
sometimes forever.

And thanks to you too, Tee. Veteran"s Day is a pretty important day. Our Service men and women have
given so much for our great country to preserve all the rights and freedoms that we enjoy. They more than
deserve a special day to honor them.

God bless all our military, both the active and retired.
