You'll have to measure it's diameter, but it looks a lot like a differential gear, possibly from an old 2.5 ton M-35 AM General.

I think Icewing is right. I looks an axle gear from a very large differential. The splined hole is where it runs on the axle.
100+ pounds? You dug that up and carried it home? My god man, you are a beast.
