Hello Everyone,
I been metal detecting on and off for about 3 years now, mainly because I look at it as "finding history". I like to find objects and research the area, and share stories with who ever is interested. Problem is, not too many people are really interested around here. That is why I joined up with you folks, we chew some of the same dirt.
I don't get to go out often, so when I do I try to take full advantage of my time. I find myself with more time to research than actually go out to the field. I use a couple of Bounty Hunter units, mainly due to the price tag. I have hunted a ghost town, parks and some older properties in the area. Armed with recent research, I want to take some time this summer to shoot an old mining community in the mountains of Southern Colorado. (No clue how the bh is gonna act).
As soon as I get my camera back from the repair shop, I will post a pic of my fav find........it's just a nickle, but my only buff. I found that i just get "the look" from family and friends here so I figured, "birds of a feather......".
Regards
Tat
