TD Bank question

All of the TD's around me use Brinks. They require $100 bags of halves. If your TD uses a different supplier it certainly could be larger bags. But the consensus on here is they almost always have $100 bags.

Wow. So they would have to basically hold my hand through the counting and continually change the bag? Any other easy way to dump halves(that doesnt involve me rolling em?)

It's got nothing to do with Brinks. The reason is because the Half Dollar bag is cut short so that it doesn't block the reject tube. If they put a full size bag in there is a greater chance of the reject tube being blocked. So the real reason is that the machine was poorly designed.

I get the feeling some TDs block the tube on purpose.

95% of the TDs i go to fill at $100. Tho i did see 1 fill at $50 and 1 that fills at $300

I have three near me that use $500 as the bag settings. All the rest use $100. Most branches are just fine with bringing in $1000. One branch I know of gets a little cranky but the rest are OK with it. One lady I know comes in with $3000 at a shot.

Thats as good as doctrine for me! You've made up my mind.

I use Hefty gallon plastic bags & put $100 in each bag. I go to different TD Banks & only dump $100 at a time. It makes things easier to have a $100 in its own bag. I only get 1 box of halfs at a time. This is the system that works for me. It might not work for someone who gets a lot of boxes at 1 time & need to dump large numbers of coins at 1 time.
