Cool finds Bob,Ive never seen a pair of pring shoes/skates like those before have you tried them out? :} There is a huge market ofr old tin type toys like the ones you have, they look to be in wonderful shape too. I used to have a ducky very similar to that when I was a little kid, really triggerd some very old memories for me fits right in with the holiday season..Shoot

I have a lot more toys.

No I haven't tried them out.. I think at 185 lbs I might break them.

They are things of the past that stir up memories in others.

Hope to see some more different toys to stir up my memories.

Nice finds, I'll have to dig some of my finds out and show them. I have a bunch of Cowboy sheriff badges, and lots of toy guns.

How the heck did you find your toys in such good condition?

HH,Ringfinder

here are a couple old Tonkas i found at a yard sale.......made a killing on them

All these toys and many more were found in the garbage. I just can't believe that people throw this stuff out. I could show you about 10 -15 more if I went and dug them out.

Hi everyone, here are some of my Badges that I have found over the years of detecting. All these items were dug by me while metal detecting.

HH, Ringfinder

P.S.
I have all these finds in a show case, because a friend of mine and I put on talks about metal detecting. We talk to all kinds of groups including museum's, Kiwanis clubs, churches and just about anyone who is interested about historical items from the past.

Ringfinder,

That is a nice collection.

I'm thinking about going to the Library and having a display of my finds for the public to see..They always have different stuff displayed.

That would be a great idea. I have displayed my finds there several times and have given talks about metal detecting at local libraries also.

P.S. Once you start putting all your finds into show cases, you will be surprised at all the neat items you have found. The picture I am adding is one of my latest finds. I started looking at my show cases and found that I had two more cap guns just like this one. According to PBK, they were made in the 1950's. Good Luck on your libray display!
