Took the Tejon out again today after the 1899 gold ring yesterday and it did not fail to impress again. Managed to get 2 canadian fishscales a 1906 large penny and a 1870 Newfoundland penny. The Newfie penny is still being cleaned so no photo of that. Here are the pics First is yesterdays gold.

nice looking ring

Gorgeous stuff! How deep were you digging and how did the signals sound? Also what was the soil like? I notice you have both the Tigershark and Sandshark....what do you like/dislike about them? I'm thinking of a Sandshark for Southern California beaches and the Tigershark seems to be more for fresh water lakes but I could be wrong.

The signals were real smooth and solid. The penny was about 7-8 inches down. The 2 silvers were each about 3-4 inches down. The ring was buried atleast 9 inches. The thing I like about the Tejon is I find that I hunt for the consistent solid signal no matter how faint or loud that they come across at. The Garrett that I used to use I was listening for the good high tones which is not always the case, especially with the deep targets. As well I was constantly watching the screen and wasn't digging all that I should.
I can't say enough good points about the Tiger shark, I love it. I haven't invested enough time into the Sand shark to be able to comment on it yet, hope will get it out this year for a few good hunts. All of my hunting is being done with the Tejon for the moment. Thanks for the comments.

Great finds!!The Tejon,is an animal!!!
