I have a CZ3D. I have not used a Tejon. I still dig a lot of trash with my CZ. It is supposed to be great for old coins at old sights. I have yet to dig any coin over 6 inches. Hopefully my coil has just not gotten over a coin any deeper and that is the reason why. I would like to try both side by side under the same conditions....Steve

If I were doing a lot more relic hunting ; I'd take the Tejon. For old coin hunting it's the CZ3D.

I don't have a Tejon, but I do own a Vaquero, as well as a CZ-3D. And I agree, Tesoro is great for relics, but for the deep coins it's CZ3D all the way!
