..............if you can find a location that's has moderate to low EMI. My version 5 handles EMI better than my version 4 did, but it's still a bit too sensitive to EMI. The mid-fifties home that I detected today had hardly any EMI at all. I was able to run the Omega with a NEL Sharpshooter search coil attached at full sensitivity, 0 discrimination, 4 tones and GB around 60. I've detected this yard before, but not with the Omega. I've pulled several silver coins from this yard on a previous hunt, but I was amazed at what I had missed in modern coins and coppers. I only managed to pull one silver coin today. It's better than nothing!
