Teller Gave Me All She Had

Stopped at bank on Tues. Asked if they had any half dollars loose or rolled. Teller had $8 loose. Score! $3.50 silver: 1 90% (1/64D) 6 40%s (2/66wFG, 2/67 & 2/69). As they say it's still out there only a matter at being at the right place at the right time.

Had the same thing happen to me 3 weeks ago............$8.00 loose from the drawer netted 4 1964's, 1 1967, and 3 1969's.............wow.............
Since then, I can't seem to find a Kennedy half at any local bank.................

A follow up.......went to a different area bank today for a swap of penny rolls. Sitting in the teller tray was a Kennedy half........looking a bit tarnished. I asked for and got the coin, brought it home and did a light wash with mineral spirits............a 1967 Kennedy was hidden beneath................
