While waiting for my daughters school bus to arrive, I sometimes search around my yard with my detector. I decided to search in front of the garage this time, as I realized I have never looked there. This was my find, I know it is a pocket compass, but am uncertain of possible times it may be from, any suggestions?

looks 50s ish really cool any markings

Hard to tell, but I'd say pocket watch instead of compass. A compass wouldn't need a winder.

Nice find. Congrats

Nice find! :icon_thumleft: It looks more like a watch than a compass to me.

Caboose, it looks like a Vintage WWII Compass. Congrats! Maybe a Waltham, Wittnauer.

Saw one of these in goodwill a few days ago, funny to see this posted. It is a compass.

I'm starting to wish I bought the one at goodwill the other day.

Looks like a nice find. You didnt have to walk far to dig that one!
