Can you tell me where i can find the laws regarding Detecting in Tenn. I am going to east Tenn. in June and plan on detecting the Little Pigeon River while i am in the area !

As long as you are not detecting in the park (great smoky park) you should be ok. Contact Sevier county Sherrifs dept. or visit Sevier county web site.
Most TN city and county parks are open to hunting. If in area, go to Townsend and detect the white water rapids area. There are daily visitors that cruise in rafts and there are many slow moving shallow areas too.
