Termal City Trip

A buddy and I are planning a trip to Thermal City next week. 07/17--07/19....planning on running our highbankers and maybe hitting the panning one evening? This will be my first trip up there and my buddies second...Just wondering if any of you guys are gonna be there...If so look us up! Shawn

I wish I was!! I was there all week from 6/29 to 7/5...It rained the whole dang time... I only got in about 6 hours of dredging in 6 days and that sucked..no pun intended.

LOL, I just got back from there yesterday, was up there since Wednesday and ended up leaving last night instead of this morning because of the damn rain, come to find out our fricking tent isn't waterproof anymore. It was fun tho, we ran the highbanker Wednesday, dredged some Thursday and just panned yesterday. We ended up with less than a gram in the end, 3 small pickers out of it. Not bad for a very first time I guess. Next time we plan a trip we'll try to get a group going.

T-Nugget that would be pretty cool if we could get a whole group from on here to meet there....We post and chat like we know one another and it would be good to actually meet up and see each others equipment and learn from one another....

BAD NEWS!!!!!!!! The trip has been postoned ... We will now be going July 29- Aug 01....The GOOD NEWS is that we will there 4 days instead of 3!!!

Sackett, As soon as I can get this current job behind me, I will join in on some of this fun. My three month job here in Tulsa has already turned into three years, now pushing for five. Retiring soon however and plans are to travel and prospect full time. Good Lord willing, you will find me and GoodyGuy together on a creek bank out West. Will take a break now and then to kill a little meat. Nuff Said.
