I bought a Tesoro Silver uMax and a 10x12 coil about a month ago. I ran the stock coil for awhile. One day I decided to use the 10x12. The 10x12 coil was tough to get on. The ears on the coil were bad close together. So close that when I put it on, it sheared a bit off of the rubber washers. No big deal. Later that day I replaced the stock coil and had it on there for awhile.
One day I put the 10x12 on and again it took more rubber off. I ran it like this for a bit. Later I replaced the stock coil but this time the stock coil was loose. I could search a bit and the coil would start to sag. It got to the point to where it would sag quite a bit. I emailed Tesoro ahile back and haven't heard anything. Today I called them and they explained that they were having troubles with emails. I explained the situation and they are shipping me a new set of rubber washers for the stock coil. He explained that the 10x12 needs to be a bit tight since it's a heavier coil.
He said I could use the sheared washers for the 10x12 and if that didn't satisfy me that he would work out something else.
I am pleased at the way they are handling this. Great customer service in my book.
