This is a pic of a two piece button that I found while detecting my favorite cabin site on New Years day...it appears to be made of copper, and has a thread through shank...the front has a great deep dish design with dots and lines, and measures roughly the size of a dime...any help always appreciated...I will be listing some more items from this hunt that I need help id'ing as well...
Thanks for stopping by a taking a look...

Really?? All of the button experts on this site, and NOT ONE guess at this button??

Late 1890 - 1950 self shank 2-piece brass decorative civilian button.

:) I bet I got everything right except the dates... :)

I guess the key is finding out when the self shank buttons were around... then just guessing :)

I spend two hours on this last night trying to get a close button for you to consider but fell asleep... LMAO.

I wish I was an expert...
