Been lurking around this forum and decided to jump in...Hit the spot thats been giving up some good stuff today. I thought it was another makeup compact that I have been finding here, but when i got home and cleaned the dirt off, it turns out to be an old medicine tin.
It reads ...Lydia E.Pinkham...Vegetable Compound...Herb Medicine...Pills For Constipation... Sanative Wash..

The pills are still in there I can here them rattle around. ;D

,Have a Flying Eagle Cent and a 1892 Injun soaking.

Thanks,
I think Lydia Pinkham was the "Martha Stewart" of her day.

Found near an old outhouse site, by chance? HeHeHe! Lots of uses for that tin, back then, no uses for the mirror in conjunction with the pills that I can post on a 'family site'. ;D Oh, the joys of my Peter Pan mind!

That is one awesome find. I have dug the related bottles from old bottle dumps. How cool it is to have the tin to go along with the bottles. Great find. If I can locate one of the Pinkham bottles in my collection you are welcome to have it as a companion to your tin.

Zoinks! You Broke It....7 years of pull-tabs for you ;D
