For those who do not know, Bigheed is a longtime forum member.

When members have complained about banks imposing fees on PERSONAL accounts for dumping coin and other services he has repeatedly told us that dropping the name of the

OCC--Office of the controller of the currency

will either get you some respect, or they will toss out your account.

Well, I had a bank that had e-mailed all their branches to charge me when I dumped coin, just like I was a business. I therefore stopped dumping for like 8 months.

But what Bigheed had said kept going around in my brain, so I called up the regional supervisor, and as nicely as I could, I let her know that I needed some rights to dump coin without fees (just like all the other customers)

OR I was going to squeal to the OCC.

Bingo ! 3 hours later she called me and we agreed upon a modest dumping schedule on the basis of a gentleman's agreement.

Try it, guys....you'll like it.

Wherever you are Bigheed, more silver to ya.

But I really don't care as long he Comp-trolls the daylights out of these banks until they get better attitudes.
