Atlanta Police say an armed man trying to rob customers outside an Atlanta shoe store was fatally shot by one of the patrons waiting in line to buy sneakersWSB-TV reports (Customer shoots, kills robber at shoe store | www.wsbtv.com ) the shooting happened Saturday morning in the city's Little Five Points neighborhood, where people lined up outside Wish Clothing to buy new $180 sneakers endorsed by Miami Heat star LeBron James Witnesses told police a man armed with a gun tried to rob people standing outside the store. But one of the customers drew his own handgun and shot the robber. Police say the suspect ran just a few yards before he fell dead.
Atlanta police officer John Chafee says the shooter won't be charged because investigators determined he fired in self-defense.

As a conservative I find this laughable maybe his friends will chip in and bury him with a pair.
As a liberal I would say this poor guy was just trying to fill his life long dream to own a pair. I'm sure he was just following the Presidents lead about sharing the wealth. Maybe next time those free cell phones will look like a pair of tennis shoes.

support your right to carry.

Saved the state the cost of a trial and prison time.... Since he was shot by a law abiding citizen on the scene as the robbery took place and while in the act of robbing people there is no doubt he was the right suspect and guility..........

One thing thats sad is the fools paying 180 bucks for a pair of sneakers just because theyre endorsed by another fool being payed to say how good they are.:laughing7:

It’s hard to steal somebody’s shoes while they are wearing them and not have them notice. But that’s what politicians have done in this country. Not only that, but they replaced all our footwear with concrete boots.

Guy probably thought he had a great idea. Maybe a couple dozen people lined up with about $200 apiece in their pockets waiting to buy shoes. Make some big money, silver and gold But all he got was lead...

If it were common for citizens to carry, robberies would be uncommon.
