Hello everyone,
I missed my family reunion for various reasons, but, the good thing was that my mother, a rather street savvy barterer, managed to convince my aunt to trade something for the railroad baggage tag I found last month at her place. So it has returned to me...I knew it would eventually get back to me so I didn't sweat it and just tread water in the meantime. It wasn't an issue that I was griping about it or anything like that, she just felt that I should have it and she knows her sister well enough lol. Anyway, my aunt got something she really wanted for years, so everyone is happy. My mom is awesome and has done a lot of cool things for me and my siblings...she totally rocks!!
Got another merc, 1929 S last Friday. Was rather deep too. The 1918 wheat and 'Jeco' key I found on Sunday. I would have had more to show(maybe) if I hadn't been stalled by the rains and bugs. I got to the park after getting into town...which was a sunny but cloud scattered day until I backed into the stall...kaploosh. I decided to leave and went to some antique shops. I bought some old tools to add to my collection. These are my new friends hehe...I intend on refurbishing the plane and cleaning up the brace a little too. After the stores nudged me out to close, I saw that the weather was good and went back to the park. I could only endure it for about an hour or so...the mosquitoes were murderous.
Ok friends, I have to leave it at that.
