Met up with Terry C yesterday at the Gold Show in Sonora. Terry hauled crates of books, publications, small tools, specimens and much more all the way across the United States to donate them to myself & Goldwasher and a group of rowdy get togethers that includes Aufisher, Hangtowndiggins, SamplePanDan, ALewis, Pennyweightmatt, Schoolofhardrocks, Capt Mike, Vertigold, Sideways Sherry and many more. Terry also included two very nice metal detectors a Fisher Goldbug2 and a Whites GMT. Terry is a great guy who served his country starting at 18 years old and had a long career. He has been an active member of TNET since the beginning and has been a good friend to many. Terry if you get a chance to read this thank you very much for this. Words cannot express our gratitude. Goldwasher and i will be going through the items tonite. Looks like we will have a lot of reading to catch up on and these materials will serve all of us for many years to come. Joe, it was a no-brainer. My pleasure. I am funneling my energies on my boat(s). Time to pass the gold stuff on. Oh, I could have sold the stuff. All is stuff that is still wanted by some. Then I would just have money. Instead, I have the pleasure of knowing friends of mine will use the stuff. Worth more than the money I would have gotten. Incidentally, one of those fellas at the gate offered me hundreds for the GMT.... NOPE, for a friend of mine. As you know, some of the stuff is geology related. I believe that a good geology backround goes with gold prospecting. The publication Fists Full Of Gold has an AWESOME geology section. Of course Zip Zip and Follow The Drywashers (Jim Straight) speak for themselves. Enjoy, my friends! Terry
