I visited the family this morning, so I could hunt this afternoon, and I’m glad i did. I hit a park-like public spot. It looks good but hasn’t yielded anything good. The ground was soft and moist today, whereas past hunts were in the hot dry summer months.
Somebody else dug all the easy signals. There’s a good amount of trash and iron at the spot too. However perseverance gained me a hand full of coins.

When this one came out of the hole, I knew my time wasn’t wasted.

Turned out to be a ‘51 Rosie. Here it is with the 3 wheats and 2 Canadians I found today.

OK, here is the good one. Choppy high tone with iron, as soon as I saw it, I could tell it was a silver half, albeit a dirty and tarnished one.

A quick wipe revealed a walker!

Second walker in 8 days, as I found one in NJ last Wednesday. I really like the Deus.
Here are the pictures after rinsing. I prefer the “as found” tarnished patina. It took a long time to get that way and I just like it.
