Y'all forgive me, because this sure ain't no recent find. Not a token or tag either, but I figure this is as good a spot as any to share it. I always thought it was a pretty neat piece, especially with the last line. Back then, going somewhere in a car was a real treat, something we take for granted nowadays. It's been about 40 years now since I found it where the city was clearing off a lot for a playground. It was pretty dented up when I found it, but I was able to straighten it out with a little gentle persuasion. I used a piece of hardwood that would fit into the recessed back side, and used different size dowels to tap between the letters to flatten it back out.
