The Ace strikes again

Hello Guys/Gals , well I met with a member of the club . yesterday at Whittier Park and we scanned the east side of the area and about 20 min into the hunt I came across a ding and as I looked at the meter it read 25 cents 4" down so I dug and dug and I found nothing in the hole but then I remembered to scan the pile with the pinpointer and not knowing what these actually look like it gave me a sound on this round ball of mud.As I cleaned off the dirt I realized what it was another first for me and the ACE 250, A MUSKET BALL WOOOOHOOOO I yelled.As the rest of the day went we had alot of hits but They were really deep and I left my shovel at home ,but you can bet I will be back soon.

That FIRST musketball or minie is ALWAYS a thrill!!!!!! Good find bud. Did you clean it?? Only ask because it looks as if all the white patina has been scrubbed off.

Ya unfortunatly I realized that after I did it I was a little excited & curious about what I had found but I didn't see much white stuff though .
