The adventures of Fossis & Fossaroo

I took my little Grandson on a road trip today, (he suggested the name), ::)

, we fed the deer in the local 'deer pen', was almost attacked by a 'vicious pack of weiner dog puppy's' ::)

showed him the 'Bee Castles, saw old houses, farm equiptment, fed a donkey, saw old bridge, wildflowers, had a picnic by a creek, caught 'craw-dads, & frogs, (his favorite of the day). :thumbsup:

We had a 'fun time', then my batteries ran down. $:-\$

Fossaroo.........that's a good name! Can't wait till I get home and take my granddaughter out and mess around.

Them grandkids will wear you out, Fossis. Everything I know about fishin, huntin, plantin, campin, arrowhead huntin, how to tell the weather, I learned from my grandpa. Dad was too busy workin for 1.25 an hour to keep us fed to engage in extracurricular activities very much. But as big a handful as they are, maybe them grandkids will remember what we teach them, and later even name their kids after us, or at least give us a little spot to camp on in their backyard in our twilight years.

You had it good, I learned everything on my on, (Grand-pa passed on early), the other one was fairly old, & just worked in his shop making knives, :P, hopefully they will remember things i teach them, & pass it on 'down the line'.

My grandson ran around the truck & scared the 'poor thing', we had to 'coaxe him back with grass.
