Re: The "Arkansas Kid"

Neato! What year is that truck? It looks so much like the one that my dad had. I have a pic of it...want to see it?

;) RR

Re: The "Arkansas Kid"

I have no idea. He told me what it was, but my memory is not too good any more. I know that it has several parts from different years, and the back bumper was fabricated by him, it was not already made.

Sure, lets see some pics ;D

I cut out the lil girl pic of me, that's why the truck is in the back ground. If I remember correctly I think it was a '48. Of course I'm not that old. ;D

Re: The "Arkansas Kid"

Now why in the world would you cut out the little girl pic :o
Oh yeah...you said the "o" word. Young people have been calling me sir for quite a while now...I dread looking into the mirror, it reminds me that they are right, I am getting OLD ;D

Nice looking truck, thank you for sharing it ;D ;D ;D

Hey Fossis,

Didn't you see this at my reunion? That is where my wife took these pics :)

Re: The "Arkansas Kid"

We need an engine shot. Looking at the exhausts it appears to be sporting a V8.

Re: The "Arkansas Kid"

Yep. it is a V-8...don't know what, but knowing my cousin, it is nothing short of power ;)

TW

P.S. Sorry, we didn't get any shots under the hood >:(

Re: The "Arkansas Kid"

I'm pretty sure that truck is late 30's Ford, most likey sporting a flat head V8. We just restored a 33, simalar style. Great looking truck!
