very nice, Japanese i assume given it was found on Maui...looks like the number "3" on the bottom, I can try to figure out the rest but it will take a bit of time.

Awesome link there Surf... :notworthy:

I see this Sake bottle (already posted in the viewing pleasure thread), or very close to it minus the writing, in the same photo in that article...

Cool stuff...thanks....

Carrying on the Maui kick... too bad I didn't think to do more bottle hunting while I was there. Didn't dawn on me until late in my stay, they used to throw everything down in the gulches.

These are kind of Plain Jayne but the Maui Soda bends the light pretty cool like. :tongue3:

No wonder the milk was so expensive :laughing7:

The flower on the milk bottle is a Silversword in bloom... the Protea is another beautiful flower that grows on Maui too... Kula was famous for them....

Haleakala is the only place silverswords grow. Tropical, high altitude....+- 8000feet. We used to sit up there and listen to Blows Against the Empire .... good times.

Mahalo for that correction, Chitlin. I was thinking a "Pincushion" Protea.

Haleakala is such a special place. I hope to return there one day.
