Today I was bored so headed down to the river bank for a few and got a few goodies. I like what I think is a cathedral bottle but I think the neck is broken I'll keep it any ways. I'm also curious of the age of the dark green bottle. As always thanks in advance for the help.

Shame that the sauce bottle is busted, but it means your in a good area with alot of possibilities. I'd say the wine/champagne is 1880-1900...

Thanks epackage. Yeah it is a shame I thought it was whole until I got it out. I've never seen one that complete so I kept it until I can find a complete example. This spot keeps giving and its only a twenty foot stretch along the river. And the bottles are about four feet in so it's a lot of digging I'm also hoping there's more early glass like the pitkin ink I found a few days back

It is indeed an egg cup I have know idea of age. Everything in the bank is all mixed together. I believe it's due to flooding that devastated the town in 55. On top of the bank is the remnants of an old house that was wiped out at that time.

It's amazing that the early Pitkin ink was found along the same part of the river bank....do you think someone might have saved it for a number of years? Have you found any other early bottles in the same area (yet)?

There's many more bottles then that there is other early stuff but there all just shards.
