Ken and I head to a new spot – new to me that is. My first time ever to hunt this location.

It was very productive as u will see, but neither of us could hit any yellow. Ken did manage a toe ring and I hit 3 older nickels– 1 being a buff.
​

Monday here soon – no clue where I may go right now.

here are some pics of one of the items from surfchurch spin – several think it is a sounding weight for checking water depth – the end would have been filled with tallow or beeswax…..called lead line weight.


With the strong smell of diesel oil (still) –maybe it was used for fuel tank measurements??
