Look at the spurs on the one in the middle in the first picture! That one is a limb hanger. I suppose they dont turkey hunt there at the condo...d2

Those are some great pictures. I suppose those are city turkeys? Do they feed them is that why they hang around?

Re: The birds of spring (also summer, fall, and winter)

They must be the California equivalent to Guinea Hens, around here in the sticks, lots of people have the Guinea Hens to eat the ticks on the property. Yes, Turkeys hang in back yards here also. Twenty years ago to see a Turkey in South Jersey was a happening, not anymore.
They sure do multiply fast............. :)

Nice photos, glad they posed for ya!!

Great pic's of 'Majestic birds'.
In some of our State Parks, they are very tame, they know they are protected I suppose.

maybe because they are so use to people do u suppose you could train one to pluck itself naked an hop in the oven at 375

the only thing missing in this pic is the mash potatoes, gravey and stuffing

Never thought I'd see Turkey's taking a walk down a sidewalk....makes turkey hunting pretty easy...no gun required.
