.....a young'un, don't know if it's a girl or boy? Was able to take lots of pic's because it is young & still pretty fearless. I first saw it out the window in the back, trying to eat the garden hose..
....guess thought it was a tasty snake, like mama use to bring? These birds are rare in the USA & declining, so lucky to have this entertaining visitor. Hope you enjoy seeing it as much as I have....
...these first 3 pictures are bad, was so nervous that he would leave...the third one I took peeking out the window through screen & he saw me.

..the rest where taken when I went out & followed him.
....and he/she will grow to be like this.....

Nice Pictures! With their keen eyesight it's wondering what this human with the one eye.
....no wonder the birds fly away most of the time! And like you say, they do have such super eyesight, it must look like that.....sorry little birdies.
