My Godfather brought me a box to help him date and maybe get an idea of its worth and i really hit a wall. Looking for as much help as possible im usually pretty good.at first i thought the box was silver plated but It appears the box is a Gilded Silver. But i may be wrong.

As mojjax and Phil have already suggested, we need more then just the makers marks to help you with this piece.
Please post pics of the entire box inside, outside, the bottom and the top with the measurements.

Looks to have been silver plated over copper. Nice box!!

The marks indicate E. G. Webster & Son 1886 - 1928.

I saw a couple of others of various sizes. Asking price was $80 - $200 US range.
