As mojjax and Phil have already suggested, we need more then just the makers marks to help you with this piece. :dontknow:
Please post pics of the entire box inside, outside, the bottom and the top with the measurements.

Looks to have been silver plated over copper. Nice box!!

The marks indicate E. G. Webster & Son 1886 - 1928.
