An old lobsterman passed away recently - His family and friends got his favorite easy-chair , and mounted it on a ledge ..... at the entrance to the harbor .

Kind of an eyesore to me....but if it makes them happy, who am I to say?, ...I don't have to look at it everyday...

Mojjax - What harbor is it at? I live up this way and was just wondering as I cannot tell from the photos. What a unique tribute. At least they didn't think to put him out in the chair for the memorial! Or is that next week?

Sorry...shouldn't joke about it; actually it is a pretty moving gesture to the old lobsterman. I am sure he will be missed by the tight knit community he is from. My best wishes goes out to the family.
