No, I don't park hunt like I use to. I have confined my activities to the higher stake cache hunts.
The cross on the rock treasure is buried in PA. It is , by my estimates, on State Forrest Land that is open to detecting.
The value of the Cross on Rock Treasure is over $15K. There are 6 green emeralds on the cross. I have seen the certificate for the apparsial of ONE of the emerals. It was over $2900. Yes, I admit it, I hacked into that site to look at it. Hay it's all research. There is also a huge ruby in the chest, some black pearls, and some coins. It is buried 18" deep. The clues will be in a PDF book that is near ready for publication. I have narrowed the area down to a 2 1/2 mi radius of a town in PA. I have to wait for the book to get it within striking distance. Any one else in the hunt? Frank

PS: I think this beats out Fenn. Just think, you get real clues, check out Facebook for a picture of the chest.

Nice to see your still investigating the interesting!

Hmm real clues? a starting place?A buried treasure? hacking? seen a picture of the treasure? Just a phony selling lots of books to get rich from a GOOSEY treasure that doesn't exist it sounds like. HMMM...don't suppose you have a stake in it do ya? 18 inches deep? How do you know? Nah I won't be searching for a goose chase but thanks anyway.

.impossible.webp Yes, that also applies to treasure hunting. Well, one of his caches has been found. I just missed it by about 50 yards. Yes I goofed up on 1 stinking clue.
Well, there have been some advanced clues issued. That's how I narrowed it down to central PA. He has posted pictures of the cache and the hole being dug. He based his hiding and clues on the old Cross on The Rock cache. Look it up. The clues will be in a book that can be downloaded.(PDF). He has put in about 5 caches.
NVDAR, You got sucked in by Fenn and he didn't even tell you what state it was in! What's that called," Once burned twice shy"? This one has realistic clues. No he doesn't make it easy, but it's a far better chance then Fenn's rhyming guesswork.

This cache is for those that really understand how to put clues together. It's all logic and observation. If you live in central PA, you have a head start.T Chest.webp Here's the chest just before it was buried 18" down in PA.

T Cross burial.webpHere's one of the video crew digging the 18" deep hole for the box. The box is metal!

Read "Shadow of the Sentinel " by Getler and Brewer and it will maybe help in how to decipher clues.

I have been hunting since back in the 70's. Deciphering clues, when working from a story, isn't the problem as much as determining what are actually clues.
A little subtle remark may turn the whole story around.
Read the Rubiat by Omar Kiam and try to figure where the ruby is hidden before the end. Frank

Mega-threads seem to be the style nowdays. Is this what you are trying to start?

Well, there is plenty of material. There are already 9 caches hidden and only one found. So far this is the closest one to me with the exception of the one that was found at Wolf Run in PA. I went for that one and goofed up on one clue. I must have been about 500' from that one. I saw the appraisal on one of the 6 emeralds on the cross. it was over $2900, so with the large ruby and black pearls, it's an easy $15K cache. The clues to all the caches will be out soon in the form of stories in a book. Frank

There is another cache hidden in VA near Natural Bridge. There is a TH looking hard for that one. It is in a 1' long piece of 6" PVC pipe that is capped and camo. paintes just laying in a slight depression. I don't know if they have had snow there yet. There is plenty out there if you are good at clues. The clues to this one are on a video. Frank

Well, it happened again. Cache #10 has gone in the ground. It's worth thousands. The clues are coming out in a book, soon I hope, because I am chomping at the bit to start hunting them. There are a lot of coins in it including gold ones, and an emerald. I 'hacked' in to get a picture of the emerald. Frank

I wished I lived closer....I would be all over that!!

The cross and everything on and in the ground belongs to the state. If you take it, it is call stealing, and off to jail, you will go. It is a sign of beauty, and should be left there. Let others can enjoy looking at it. It could be a sign that there is treasure under it or nearby. The state may allow people to dig up single coins, which I doubt, but not the cross nor buried treasures. It is always good to hear from my friend, Lastleg. I agree with his above comments. Good that Frankn does not live in Connecticut, or he may dig up all the treasures, and leave me with nothing.

Sam, I don't think you get the picture. This is a cache buried in PA. on state land by a fellow treasure hunter. You can legally detect and recover there. The clues will be in a book and a video on the burial. Cache #10, which was just buried, will have the clues for that one on Facebook- Legend Hunters XXL Page.
What I am talking about is thousands of $$$ in each cache. The cross cache is worth about $15K. Here's proof. The cross has 6 emeralds. This is the appraisal of one of the emerald.
Get down off the high horse and start detecting. Frank

Well, the clues aren't out yet, But I can tell you that the 10 caches that have been buried are in several different states. I remember some locations like North Catalonia, Virginia, PA. There's one near the Canadian border, One has been placed in a mine in, I believe, AZ, one on an island also. The stories and clues will give info about the location of each. Hay, I am chomping at the bit.

T Cross burial.webpHe's burying the Cross Cache. it's about 18" deep.

Awesome! A treasure hunt! Hone your treasure hunting radar Frank, it sounds very exciting!
