Had a couple hours to hunt today after work before the sun went down. I decided to keep using the Deus to continue the learning curve. I headed to a 1890 home that I had hunted numerous times before with the e-trac, CTX 3030 and the Deus. I decided to go REALLY slow and pick out deep signals. It really paid off! The first signal was very loud and only about 6" down. I'm not sure how I missed this signal before. A solid 90-93 on the Deus. Popped the plug and immediately saw a silver rim. Plucked it out to discover a 1920-S SLQ in extremely nice shape. My 3 of the year. As it was getting dark I got another faint silver signal. I dug down around 8" and popped out a shotgun shell end. Luckily I re checked my hole because the silver signal was still there. Pulled out a pretty little 1920-S merc. A good 2 hour hunt for me! Thanks for looking!
