I believe doodle bug referred to pendulums. Electrical🤔🤔

a Quick Look Long Beach, Santa Rosa, & Corning popped up.
no change in wording

The name in years past was applied to pendulum dowsing probably a few people used it for all dowsing (not knowing any better).
