Yes but they are pricier. I've used electroscope and Simmons and 4 other brands. The Simmons seems to do just as good but for less money. I'm selling my pm 1 to get a pm 3. Simmons works for me as have been his g rods fo about 53 yrs now. Short ribs Bob

You must not have checked the prices lately. PMR III the Iii stands for it costs three times more than a GDI-detectors Apollo rod
