The early bird gets the SILVER , RINGS # 56,57 & 58

I hit the soccer field at 6 am this morning :sunny: . It payed off in the first half hour . I got a +24 at 3-4 inches and out popped a 1944D silver war nickel :headbang:. The other good find was a .925 silver ring with a heart :icon_thumright:. Also found two junk rings , bringing my totals for the year up to 58 ! Some other fun finds are soccer hat pins and a baseball pendent . Clad count for two hour was $10.62 .

Curious green ring. Don't see any metal on it. Looks like inlaid stone on stone. Any idea how you detected it if it wasn't metal?

Thanks, Glenn. That explains it.

Wonder how long that nickel's been in the ground. It has some serious wear on it, suggesting a recent drop.
