Brother KirkTN TURNED THE BIG 40 today HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRO. After church his wife ask him what he wanted to do today? DUH Go Detectin sweety Thats my brother.
We loaded up the truck and headed for the Field of Buttons ( We named it today )
We started out pulling more flat buttons (we have already pulled 10 from the field before today)
wasn't long before Kirk got a nice Eagle Cuff Button and then I pulled a Eagle Coat button ( Waterbury Button CO * backmark ) from the other side of the field. I wound up digging 7 buttons, a piece of harmonica reed, a couple of 32 cal.? rimfire casings an old iron buckle, misc brass and what I would guess to be a nipple cover for a black powder rifle? We nearly got stuck in the field my old dodge was doing some spinning but it finally came out. I told the land owner and he was cool about it said not to worry about it. All in all a wonderful Sunday.

WOW nice buttons.

Next to gold and silver buttons are my favorites. :P

Happy Birthday to your brother! :occasion13:

It's rather unique, how what we find in the ground tells a story or stories. I've never been one to get too excited about finding buttons. I guess I need to rethink my mindset regarding such. I have a bunch of them I think I'll recheck. Most lost their stories long ago as I have been keeping them in a plastic container marked "Assorted Finds!"

Great job!
Obviously, you and your brother had a great day!
