This past Sunday I found the find of a lifetime, a 1652 Pine Tree Shilling at a site in Connecticut. I don't post much on here but thought I would share it with you. 18814336_10209321218691077_6990423850541621481_n.webp19105701_10209321219051086_7146193852843806294_n.webp

Awesome find...incredible

Wow! You can retire now!

Golly!.... she's a beaut!

That's insane. I couldn't imagine. Don't those go at auction for $20,000+?? I couldn't contain myself if I had found that .

AND BANNER too!

banner my friend,congrats:headbang:

Nice centered strike there.....and banner material as well.

You've done it now. I want one.

Wow! Nice find

Ba Ba Ba Banner! Can you feel the jealousy?

Mine is a Noe-16 variety. It is one of the most common of the small planchet Shillings so I doubt it would go that high. That said, it is in incredible condition. I was lucky. Incredibly lucky.

Until I joined the forum about 2 1/2 years ago I never had heard of these, but it's my understanding these are quite coveted and rare! Huge congratulations to you sir.

Like you I never post my finds because I feel they don't measure up but sure would have made an exception on a find like this!!

That's a super-find! It's on my wishlist, but seeing as I live in Southwest Virginia, I think it will only ever be just that...a wish.:)

I have found some amazing coins, tokens and relics over my 22 years of detecting. I actually never posted much in TreasureNet even though I joined three years ago. When I first joined, the site was very busy and I had a hard time keeping up because the threads moved so fast. That's why I never posted much on this site. I will try to post more in the future.

Is this the reason it's not getting the recognition it deserves??
I think it's a Banner find !
Congratulations Don!
