The fired house.

I'm so excited!! Got a call today from a friend of mine who owns property that is rich in CW history that we have hunted hard with a lot of success. He had told me about an old house site on his brother in laws adjoining property a few weeks ago. This house was there during the Civil war and burned down later. I have just not been able to check it out yet. His wife told him today that the old timers said the man who lived there when it burnt had lost a bunch of coins/money he had saved in the fire. I know this is just a rumor but you never know. I also know that there will be lots of junk there and I will wade through it. Should be a great site. I will update tomorrow either hear or in today's finds. Wish me luck!!

When he called he made it hard for me to work the rest of the day. It is pouring down rain now and is going to be cold tomorrow but I will be there. I hope this turns in to a long term site, and sounds like it will.
