The Giving Field gives again and again

Went back to our dream field yesterday with South Jersey Jim and Arti Facts. We had a blast. It astounds me the stuff that is on this field. They kicked my butt with their beautiful Coppers! But I did manage to find some wheatties, indians, a cuff link and a piece of a pipe stem, this is only my second one. Buttons and a medal from Annapolis. Many spoons and a fork. Hey Arty check out the one spoon I have a picture of. Look familiar I did manage to get half a bronze or copper bracelet with unique designs and symbols on it. Wish I had the other half I found out that the symbols on the bracelet are Runes. I am not going to explain what they are you have to look it up. This was like the early alphabet. We had a great time. The weather was great and the ground was ripe for the picking. I don't think that I have been this tired metal detecting in quite some time. I set my machine up differently and am glad I did. I did dig alot of trash but that is O.K. Can't wait to get back there especially when they plow it It will be like opening up a whole new area when they do.

That is an exact match of the one I dug Picture 8. I would say your buttons along with the bracelet is at the top of the tally for the day. Great finds Diane... Arty

Great find on the Half bracelet......runes are Celtic and Druid..definately ancient Germanic......find the other half......Good thoughts on that.....
