The Gold Commissioner's Button and Camp

Hi all, Been out too the gold feilds this week -end. I decided to hunt one of the many Gold commissioners camps in the area. In the gold rush miners came to the camp at the end of each month to pay fee to mine gold. Claim jumping and mining without a permit was a major crime. In the first 6 months of the rush there was no law, so claim jumpers were just shoot dead by protecting miners. Murder or justice who will ever know. Well spent a lot of time mainly digging junk and after 3 trips to the site i finally got a super button. That little piece you are holding is a piece of a Chinese coin. Found several pieces myself, in S. Korea, this last Saturday.
That button is a nice one.
