I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Found an old historic site to detect which has now been turned into a city park just south of where I live.

I researched the "Excelsior" button. It is in pristine condition with a full shank.

How on earth does a New York civil war officers cuff button and a 3-ringer end up in South Milwaukee?

What a great hobby!

Found with the Vaquero and they both hit HARD.

Nice finds. I like the button.

Excellent saves, both of them!

As far as finding them there? Well, even veteran Civil War officers have to retire to someplace. ;)

Nice!
