Today’s offering may not be of interest to my friends across the Pond, but I’ll let you decide.
The wireless played a big part in my formative years. In 1951 when just a bairn, I used to curl up on the chair to be literally 'frightened to death' listening to the sepulchral tones of Orson Welles as he introduced yet another story from the Black Museum.
