Been awhile since I posted anything thought this might be interesting. Took me a couple days to figure out what it was after soaking in olive oil. You will need to take my word on this one. Roast toasty.
1816 half penny found at what was probably a swimming hole by the side of a river. Also found an 1899 V nickel in the same hole. Rang up as junk. The better picture is from ebay. Current bid 0.99 cents, aint getting rich that's for sure. I have found other things there just didn't bother digging the junky singles,

It's tough identifying coins when they're in horrible shape like that. Still neat to figure them out though.
