There is an very old legend in Quito in Ecuador that tells of an ancient Inca treasure.
Knowledge of this treasure was from a story of a young Inca boy horribly mutilated who was cared for by a member of the church. In appreciation of the kindness of the good father years later the bot whom had grown into man revealed that he knew of a great secret of Inca treasure. However he died before the exact details of the location came out. Many legends and various versions of this story evolved over the centuries. Was there any truth this story or just another urban treasure legend?
Perhaps treasure is hidden deep under the fortress city of Ingaprica? Tunnels have been found some explored some have not? Could there be a hidden hoard of Inca treasure in secret chamber under Ingapirca the largest Inca City in Ecuador?
Regardless perhaps the real treasure is the ruins itself?
