Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know that I have finished another batch of Vikings, and they are up on ebay if you were looking to get one.

If you have anything to share about your experiences with your viking, please feel free! And happy long weekend digging! :)

Also if anyone has designed a good sheath, even just with PVC and would like to produce them and sell them to me, please feel free to contact me via PM. I get so many people looking for and asking about sheaths, and I think it would be a nice addition to just have them available.

Thanks very much!

One of our fellow metal detectorists was kind enough to make a review video of the Viking digger. Thanks Silversimon!

I have my digging tools listed on the left. The Viking has the most comfortable handle and digs dirt better than anything I own. I haven't used my Lesche 85 or Raptor since buying my Viking about 4 months ago. And when I clean it with a towel, it looks as new as the day it came.

Great product.

I just cut open the bottom of a AWP tool holster I bought at Lowes for $9.88. It just so happened to have a loop for my XPointer and a ring clasp for my lanyard.

Phantasman how did you attach the lanyard to the Pinpointer?

The Deteknix Xpointer has a collar ring for the lanyard to attach to it. The lanyard and ring are included in the purchase ($89).

There is an after market lanyard made for your Garrett PP just like it. It's called the Keeper Security Lanyard. About $10.

It seems the only TNet dealer that carries them is http://metaldetectingstuff.com/products/the-keeper-lanyard

Good-looking rig, there!
Looks like it will hold the digger good,
and the tether on your pointer,
is also a good idea!

Thanks Phantasman

It does. The slit in the bottom lets the point of the blade hang out as well as letting sand and dirt escape. There is a bigger pocket above and behind the Viking pocket as well.

I like my Viking digger so much I am thinking of getting another one! Think I have the only one in Oz, not sure.

Hi everyone, I have a quick update. I am now selling Viking Diggers with various colored handles. I have red, blue, and grey available. Hopefully these will suit your preference.

Pictured below:

Feel free to check them out on ebay, or you can contact me for an invoice to get a slight discount since the I can avoid the ebay fee.

Will be going to Canada later this month, think I'll get one with a blue handle when I get there. If I went for the yellow handle, I would have a matching pair!

A true Viking would use one with a yellow handle .... right? ???

Oh most definitely :)

I figured not all people have the Garrett Ace series so the grey ones for example match with the AT pro and amphibian headphones. And the red ones just look great in general.

Whew ... that's a relief. I like the visibility factor of the yellow. Plus, it kind of matches my Excalibur ... well, at least it matches the coil cover and headphones. Hah!

Mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Looking forward to receiving it!

I bought one of these a few months ago. You can immediately feel the difference in that it is heavier than the Lesche and others I have used. The handle grip is much more comfortable. I'm not such a young dude any more and my digging hand sometime cramps up after digging for a few hours. The Viking's handle offers some relief from that and I can hunt longer. The blade is designed a little different so while not being noticeably wider (I've never measured it to compare) it seems to hold more dirt so it just digs faster. This is a very good tool.

And I don't know the guy who makes this and have nothing to gain from this post. Just my opinion.

Mine seems to have disappeared, in San Francisco. I hope they didn't decide to ban it and then throw it in the trash!!

Edit: False alarm ... Tracking shows it close to home. :laughing7:

Hey everyone, I just wanted to give a shoutout to TexasTigerDigs on youtube, he has been a great supporter of the tool, and he's also an all around really nice guy. He makes some great detecting videos, and does lots of reviews on all kinds of related products.

Be sure to subscribe to his channel and show him some support! :occasion14:
