The "King" of all covers

Although many artists will cover one someones work over their career, Joe Cocker made it a living for the most part. In some cases his covers were as popular, or better than the original. The beauty was having a good arranger change it to the blues to fit his voice. I would also think a good deal of his work is courtesy of the Beatles, which I omitted all but one McCartney song

To think I didn't add his earlier works from his Mad Dogs and Englishmen days may be sacrilegious, but I hope you get a taste of his great capabilities in making great blues.. I only have about 12 of his CD's as many of the CD's have songs from other albums, and I don't need too many duplicates :laughing7:

If you have the time sample as many as you can, I am sure you will find a new hidden gem in his work
